The Information Commissioners Office has issued updated guidance to businesses on how to prepare for the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation that which will apply from May 2018.

The guidance has been issued in the form of a checklist setting out points such as raising awareness in your organisation, the potential need for an information audit, how to prepare for the changes to notifications and subject access requests.
