Under new regulations, if a business has 250 or more employees it will have to publish a report including various calculations about its gender pay gap – for the private sector, this report relates to pay on 5 April 2017, and the report is due a year later; for the public sector, it relates to pay on 31 March 2017 and again the report is due a year later.
